I'm partnering exclusively with a well-funded, Manchester-based AI startup that is tackling a genuinely difficult, real-world challenge.

Are you a Senior or Staff-level Full Stack Engineer ready to move beyond corporate structure, build a product from the ground up, and earn a genuine stake in the outcome?

This team already has strong early commercial momentum with paying clients and has been accepted into a prestigious global accelerator programme. They are now actively scaling their Founding Engineering team to capitalise on their traction. You'll be one of the very first technical hires outside of the core founders, a crucial autonomous role focused on leading the creation of scalable, user-centric products that directly leverage cutting-edge AI and data automation technology. You’ll be working alongside an experienced founding team with a strong track record of successful exits and scaling technology businesses.

🛠️ What You’ll Own

• Platform Build: Architecting and delivering a completely greenfield platform, driving it from early MVP through to high-scale production.
• Architectural Leadership: Designing clean, resilient solutions across all layers: front-end, back-end services, and critical infrastructure.
• Product Input: Collaborating directly with the Product Lead and early users to define the roadmap and guide the overall technical direction of the business.
• Scaling Foundation: Establishing the technical standards, tooling, and culture that will serve as the template for the future engineering team.

✅ The Skillset They Need

• Deep Full Stack Expertise: Proven mastery across the stack, specifically with Python, Typescript, and React.
• Cloud Proficiency: Practical experience with cloud-native architecture and modern DevOps tooling.
• Scaling Experience: Comfortable designing and deploying secure, highly scalable APIs and services.
• Startup DNA: Demonstrable experience with ML/AI tooling and thrives in a rapidly evolving, early-stage product environment.
