Role: Systems Manager

Salary: £95k-£100k base

Location: On-site, 5 days a week. Central London.

Type: Permanent

I’m supporting a global organisation undergoing a major finance-systems modernisation and looking for a Systems Manager to take full ownership of their finance technology stack. This role will suit someone who is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable owning systems that sit across Finance, FP&A and Treasury.

Key Responsibilities (In Detail)

Core System Ownership (Business Central / D365 Finance)

• Act as the primary owner and administrator of the core finance system
• Oversee system performance, stability, and uptime across a global user base
• Manage user access, permissions, roles, and security compliance
• Maintain and improve reporting structures, dimensions, and master data
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all finance modules

Support & BAU

• Lead troubleshooting, issue resolution, and first-line support for Finance, FP&A, and Treasury
• Manage and monitor license usage and platform consumption
• Train users, improve adoption, and serve as the go-to SME for day-to-day queries
• Raise and manage support tickets with external partners and vendors
• Oversee SLAs, platform updates, patches, and release schedules

Systems Development & Integration

• Support ongoing integration between the core ERP, the FP&A platform (e.g., Anaplan/EPM), and the Treasury Management System
• Assist with configuration changes, testing cycles, regression testing, and enhancement roll-outs
• Work cross-functionally to streamline manual processes and introduce automation
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance technology landscape

Data & Reporting

• Maintain high data quality across multiple systems
• Support Finance and FP&A with data structures, hierarchies, and reporting integrity
• Help build a more scalable, efficient finance stack as the company continues to grow

Candidate Profile

• Experience as a Systems Manager, Systems Analyst, or Systems Administrator
• Strong exposure to Business Central or D365 Finance
• Comfortable with system configuration, testing, integrations, and BAU support
• Understanding of finance processes: GL, AP/AR, FP&A, reporting
• Experienced working with external support partners
• Exposure to Anaplan or other EPM tools, plus Treasury systems
