Power Platform Engineer

Power Platform Engineer

Permanent | Remote-first (with regular office/client days)

The Role in 30 Seconds

Build production-grade integrations connecting Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Azure services, and enterprise systems. You'll engineer Power Automate orchestrations, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and custom connectors — delivering reliable, secure integration workloads within architect-defined patterns.

Hands-on engineering with real impact on enterprise transformation programmes.

What You'll Actually Do

Core responsibilities:

  • Power Automate & orchestration — Build cloud flows with concurrency, retries, error handling; implement child-flow patterns and solution-aware flows
  • Azure integration services — Implement Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIM, Service Bus/Event Grid patterns defined by architects
  • Dataverse implementation — Build tables, business rules, security roles; support data movement and D365 mapping
  • ALM/DevOps — Implement CI/CD pipelines, solution moves, environment variables, connection references (ADO/GitHub)
  • Power Apps engineering — Build targeted model-driven/canvas components supporting integration use cases
  • Custom connectors — Develop secure authentication flows (OAuth2, Azure AD, Managed Identities, API keys)
  • Monitoring & operations — Add logging/telemetry (Application Insights), support troubleshooting and RCA

Supporting areas:

  • Contribute to integration architecture and design sessions
  • Dual-write mapping validation and deployment checks
  • Security pattern implementation (DLP, compliance)
  • Technical documentation and knowledge transfer

You'll Fit If You Have

Essential:

  • 3-5 years hands-on experience building Power Platform & Azure integrations
  • Strong Power Automate, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and REST API experience
  • Solid Dataverse knowledge: tables, security roles, business rules, data mapping
  • CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps or GitHub)
  • Understanding of authentication patterns (OAuth2, Azure AD, Managed Identities)
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
  • D365 CE exposure and integration experience

Desirable:

  • API Management, Event Grid, Service Bus, or event-driven patterns
  • Application Insights telemetry and monitoring experience
  • Microsoft certifications: PL-400, PL-600, AZ-204
  • Solution-aware flows, child-flow patterns, automated testing (Test Studio, PAC CLI)
  • Dual-write familiarity
