Our client, are a growing provider of industry-recognised Print and Automated Software SaaS solutions, serving a diverse range of B2B clients. Their business model revolves around delivering cutting-edge managed print and automation software tailored to small and medium-sized enterprises. They are now expanding their sales team to fuel their next stage of growth.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue through outbound activity, relationship building, and closing deals. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident self-starter with experience in the Managed Print Services (MPS) industry and a passion for technology-led solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and build strong relationships with business leaders in SME organisations.
- Prospect, qualify, and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Book and attend qualified new business appointments with decision-makers.
- Close deals to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collaborate with marketing to align lead generation strategies.
- Conduct research to identify suitable target companies using online tools.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records in our CRM system (HubSpot).
- Nurture long-term prospects and manage sales pipelines effectively.
Skills & Experience
- Essential: Experience within the Managed Print Services sector, with a solid understanding of the market and existing industry connections.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, including lead generation, cold calling, and closing.
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets in a business development role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Skilled at overcoming gatekeepers and handling objections confidently.
- Strong initiative, resilience, and self-motivation - results-driven with a tenacious approach to sales.
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot).
