The Company:
Our client is a high-growth technology business at the forefront of modern automotive retail.
Combining marketplace capability, digital tools and data-driven insight, they partner with retailers and brands to transform how consumers engage with the used and new-car market.
The business has scaled rapidly over the past few years, expanding its digital footprint across the UK and Europe. With a strong commercial model, a loyal customer base and continuous product innovation, the company has become a go-to strategic partner for automotive retailers looking to improve performance, efficiency and consumer reach.
The Role:
As an Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of automotive retail partners, helping them maximise performance through data, insight and commercial guidance.
This is not a passive, administrative account-management role, it’s a consultative, strategic position where you work closely with partners to:
- Understand their business, challenges and goals.
- Identify opportunities to enhance visibility, conversion and sales performance.
- Lead onboarding and early engagement programmes that set partners up for success.
- Deliver insight-driven recommendations using platform data.
- Develop and execute portfolio plans that grow revenue, adoption and retention.
- Shape best practice for retailer success on the platform.
- Act as the voice of the customer into product and commercial teams.
You will be central to helping retailers get more from the platform, building long-lasting relationships and shaping how they operate digitally.
The Person:
We are looking for someone who combines commercial thinking with genuine relationship-building strengths.
You will likely excel in this role if you are:
- An excellent communicator able to build trust quickly with external partners.
- Data-comfortable, able to turn insights into recommendations that influence behaviour.
- Commercially minded, with experience managing and growing revenue within a portfolio.
- Consultative, understanding partner needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.
- Organised and structured, able to manage a varied and high-volume set of accounts.
- Resilient and adaptable, thriving in a scale-up environment.
- Self-driven, comfortable taking ownership and pushing initiatives forward.
Experience in SaaS, marketplace, automotive, digital media or similar client-facing commercial roles is advantageous, though not essential.
If you are excited by the idea of helping automotive retailers elevate their digital performance in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, we would love to speak with you.
