Degree Apprenticeship in Digital and Technology Solutions

Role
Embark on a four-year apprenticeship in Digital and Technology Solutions (Software Engineering) and you’ll be working to support business areas by automating processes and building new solutions to drive innovation. You’ll work with diverse teams across the business through six-month placements while studying part-time at Nottingham Trent University for a fully-funded BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions (software engineering). During the programme, you'll have the opportunity to select placements based on your interests and career goals, such as:
- Spending time with the cyber security team, helping to protect our colleagues and customers through supporting penetration testing, exploring vulnerabilities and investigating fraudulent companies
- Contributing to our data strategy
- Learning about what E.ON does to contribute to sustainability, getting involved yourself, while helping automate and digitalise processes
- Understanding how a digital technology operation functions, reviewing budget controls and working with suppliers to fulfil technology needs
Training
- This apprenticeship leads to a BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions (Software Engineering) awarded by Nottingham Trent University
- The course has a blended delivery model with the in person teaching being delivered via day release, on NTU Clifton campus
