Product Owner - Lloyd's Market
We are currently partnering with a market-leading London Market Insurer to recruit a Product Owner. The successful candidate will be supporting key initiatives across the Lloyd’s insurance business. This is a permanent role offering the chance to work closely with business stakeholders, underwriting, and technology teams to deliver high-quality digital products that support underwriting, pricing, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is clearly prioritised and aligned with business goals
- Work closely with underwriters, operations, and other Lloyd’s market stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product roadmaps
- Act as the key liaison between business users and delivery teams (engineering, QA, architecture)
- Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and support agile ceremonies
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory, compliance, and Lloyd’s market standards
- Track delivery progress, manage dependencies, and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and user experience
The ideal candidate:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner (or Senior Business Analyst/Product role) within the Lloyd’s Insurance Market
- Experience working on underwriting, policy administration, claims, or related insurance platforms
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
