Overview

A fast-growing international technology company operating at the intersection of IoT, cloud, and connectivity is seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Sales Manager to drive strategic growth across the DACH region from a UK base.

This role is focused on building high-value enterprise relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and closing complex multi-country deals across industries undergoing rapid digital transformation including industrial automation, smart infrastructure, mobility, and connected consumer systems. You will play a central role in expanding market presence, shaping go-to-market strategy, and securing long-term enterprise adoption of advanced connectivity and IoT platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and secure mid-to-large enterprise customers across the DACH region, with a focus on high-growth IoT and digital transformation verticals.
  • Build and execute strategic account plans to drive new customer acquisition and long-term revenue expansion.
  • Manage the full commercial lifecycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, negotiation, closing, and ongoing account development.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with system integrators, platform providers, and technology partners to expand market reach and accelerate deal flow.
  • Orchestrate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving technical, commercial, and executive decision-makers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with pre-sales, product, and marketing teams to design tailored solutions and value propositions.
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to build brand presence and pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting through CRM and internal tools.
  • Feed market intelligence and customer insight back into product and go-to-market teams to shape future offerings.

Experience & Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic B2B sales within IoT, SaaS, Cloud or enterprise technology environments.
  • Proven success selling complex, solution based offerings into mid-to-large enterprise organisations across European markets.
  • Strong experience navigating and closing deals within the European region, with established networks and local market understanding.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Track record of managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and closing high-value strategic agreements.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with hands on experience negotiating contracts and managing legal and procurement processes.
  • Experience working closely with technical and solution architecture teams to shape customer-specific proposals.
  • Structured, analytical, and process-driven approach to pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-moving, remote, and international environment.
  • Business-level fluency in English; German language capability is highly advantageous.
