Equifax is in search of a Senior Product Manager, supporting our Product Director in our Consumer Product Domain.

- The Senior Product Manager plays a crucial role supporting the Product Director in the successful execution of the UK growth strategy.
- Market Opportunity Assessment - Conduct Market & Customer Understanding for product and product lines managed, ensuring alignment with strategy and goals; Perform segmentation, market sizing, and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities; Conduct market validation (voice of customer, customer advisory boards, etc.)
- Product Definition - Work closely with our Strategic Partnerships team in defining product approach to build, buy or partner; Definition of elements required to meet market needs and commercial viability; Lead development of commercial model and packaging discussions
- Product Innovation - Create the business case for new product innovation, aligning to the Strategy Playbook defined by the Product Director ; Drive cross functional activities related to positioning, pricing, and promotion across distribution channels (collaboration with Marketing, Decision and Analytics and our Direct to Consumer team).
- Product Delivery & Launch - Lead descriptions and requirement definition for product development; Understand product trade-offs and drive alignment; Manage market feedback efforts to drive product direction; Lead efforts to prepare for and support product release; Monitor post launch, consult with product marketing and provide input to adjust/improve to ensure success
- Growth & Portfolio Management - Drive product engagement and satisfaction and manage the product's performance including attainment of revenue and margin objectives; Assess monitored product adoption and usage and engage in the collection of customer feedback; Collect, analyse and interpret data to reach conclusions and/or present insights and findings to drive product development and lifecycle management decisions including enhancements and sunsetting
- Candidates must posses expertise in Financial services, with a comprehensive understanding of credit reference agencies (CRAs), data analytics and consumer credit regulations.
- Extensive related product management experience in a product-led organization required
- You must be customer-obsessed and have experience directly turning Voice of Customer into growth product innovation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead efforts in a highly matrixed environment
- Experience in Product tools required (Aha, JIRA)
- Possesses a deep understanding of customer needs through market and industry research, knowledge of emergency trends and regulation as well as analysis of competitors
- Can use strong knowledge of competitive landscape to anticipate, articulate and drive high-potential opportunities that demonstrate competitive advantage
- Interact with key decisions-makers within own function and across related functions to successfully navigate Equifax' organization
- Has managed executional rigor to deliver product efforts on time to meet market demands
- Experience in developing products in a cloud-based environment and use of Artificial Intelligence would be a significant advantage.
