Group Financial Controller
Equifind are partnering with a fast-scaling international digital, media & tech group looking for a Group Financial Controller to take ownership of global reporting, IFRS consolidations, audit, cashflow, controls and financial operations across multiple international entities.

What you’ll be doing:
Group Reporting & IFRS Consolidation
- Lead the preparation of Group and international subsidiary financial statements
- Own quarterly and year-end IFRS consolidations across the UK, US, Brazil and wider regions
- Review consolidation models, statutory packs and technical accounting papers (M&A, impairments, refinancing, going concern)
Audit, Controls & Technical Accounting
- Act as the lead for Group audit and manage regional audit partners
- Strengthen the internal control framework and drive automation
- Maintain and evolve a Group Finance Playbook for policies, controls and reporting standards
Cashflow, Treasury & Debt
- Lead cash consolidation, liquidity forecasting and the rolling 13-week cashflow
- Manage Group debt facilities, ensuring covenant compliance and timely reporting
- Chair global payment governance meetings and approve payment runs
Systems, Processes & Transformation
- Implement consolidation and financial-statement tools at Group level
- Partner with Technology, FP&A, Legal and Tax to standardise processes
- Oversee ERP enhancements and finance transformation initiatives
Business Partnering & Global Leadership
- Support and guide regional Controllers across multiple markets
- Manage and mentor a remote international finance team
- Review monthly Group Board packs with FP&A and support M&A due-diligence and integration
What we’re looking for
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong experience in IFRS, consolidations, global reporting, audit leadership
- Background managing international or offshore teams
- Strong grasp of controls, automation, treasury and financial operations
- Experience in tech, digital, media or high-growth multinational environments
- Advanced Excel and exposure to Caseware, NetSuite, SAP, Xero, QuickBooks or similar
