Evolve ERP are recruiting an experienced Production Planning Manager to lead planning, scheduling, and coordination within a complex manufacturing environment.
You will own the master production schedule and ensure manufacturing master data (materials, BOMs, routings, capacities) is accurate, controlled, and maintained in SAP S/4HANA to support reliable planning, MRP, and on-time delivery. Acting as the key link between Engineering,
Manufacturing, and Planning, you will translate engineering outputs into structured manufacturing data and executable production plans.
You will lead planning engineers, stores, and estimating teams, issue and control work orders, monitor performance against plan, and take corrective action where required. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential to gain alignment across stakeholders and ensure delivery to customer commitments, budgets, and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and drive the master production schedule
- Govern manufacturing master data in SAP S/4HANA
- Lead production planning, MRP, and capacity planning
- Chair production and SIOP meetings
- Monitor KPIs such as OTIF, schedule adherence, and productivity
- Manage work orders, stores, internal logistics, and subcontract requisitions
- Support continuous improvement and data quality audits
Essential Experience
- Extensive SAP S/4HANA experience in manufacturing (PP, master data, execution)
- Strong production planning and project control background
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manage engineering changes
- High attention to detail with a strong big picture mindset
- Advanced Excel, Power BI; strong financial and forecasting understanding
- Proven leadership in a regulated or complex manufacturing environment
