Working Pattern
Hybrid working - 3 days onsite in Manchester , 2 days remote once up to speed.

The What…
As a DevOps Engineer , you’ll design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
Core responsibilities include:
- Designing and managing AWS environments (EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, Route53, IAM).
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (modular, reusable code).
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines via GitLab CI or GitHub Actions .
- Containerising applications with Docker , managing lifecycles via ECS, Fargate, and EKS .
- Administering Ubuntu Linux systems and performing system hardening.
- Applying networking fundamentals (DNS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing).
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth and secure deployments.
What You’ll Bring
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and Terraform .
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and Git workflows .
- Solid understanding of Docker and container orchestration.
- Experience managing Linux environments (Ubuntu preferred).
- Scripting ability in Python, Go, or Bash .
- (Bonus) Familiarity with AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Config , or Terraform Cloud .
