Join a fast‑growing AI-powered platform empowering product teams with conversational insights. They are transforming risk engineering and underwriting in commercial insurance through a powerful, AI-driven platform.

Founded in 2024, they have emerged to tackle a critical bottleneck: risk engineers spending 90% of their time on paperwork , delaying inspections, underwriting, and critical business decisions.

The platform processes billions of user interactions, delivering real-time analytics, summaries, and actionable trends to help businesses unlock deeper customer understanding.

Recently secured £1.45M in pre-seed funding

They're now looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives building production-grade systems and enjoys owning backend architecture. You'll focus on scaling and optimizing our Python/Django core services , while collaborating with frontend engineers using React and TypeScript to integrate features and APIs.

In this role, you will -

• Directly support the mission of reducing risk engineering backlogs and bringing critical insurance operations into the digital age
• Build AI workflows that replace manual report writing

What we’re looking for -

• Python : 5+ years experience; excellent mastery of the language.
• Django (or similar frameworks like Flask/FastAPI): 3+ years building APIs, ORM experience, migrations, model design
• Experience with caching / message queues (Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.)
• Start-Up experience, and Scaling a platform
