Business Analyst

Business Analyst

My client is a well-established and growing business operating in the international payments space. With a focus on helping individuals and businesses transfer money across borders securely and efficiently, the company blends personalised service with smart technology to deliver a market-leading experience. The culture is collaborative, agile, and commercially aware, with a real appetite for operational excellence and customer-centric innovation.

The Role:

We're looking for a Business Analyst with a strong data analytics mindset - someone who can bridge the gap between business objectives and data insights. This role is ideal for someone who understands customer behaviour and can surface meaningful insights that drive change across B2C or B2B2C models.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders in marketing, product, compliance, and operations to turn complex data into actionable business decisions. Your work will shape the way the company engages with its customers, optimises processes, and evaluates performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify questions that can be answered with data, particularly in B2C or B2B2C customer journeys.
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements for data analysis or dashboard/reporting tools.
  • Analyse customer behaviours, conversion funnels, onboarding performance, and usage trends using internal data sources.
  • Work with product and development teams to support data-led feature improvements or service optimisation.
  • Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support the creation of dashboards and visual reporting to give stakeholders real-time access to key metrics.
  • Help define and measure success metrics for new initiatives or changes.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a data science or data analytics focus.
  • Experience working in a B2C or B2B2C organisation - ideally in financial services, fintech, e-commerce or a regulated environment.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with customer or transactional datasets.
  • Ability to manipulate, analyse, and interpret complex data to support commercial and operational decisions.
  • Clear communicator who can influence stakeholders and explain findings without jargon.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and a high degree of autonomy.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar visualisation platforms.
  • Background in international payments, FX, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with compliance-focused datasets (e.g. KYC, onboarding, fraud monitoring).

Due to the high amount of interest that we receive for each of our roles unfortunately we cannot respond to each application individually, therefore if you do not hear back from one of our consultants you have not been shortlisted for this role.

Please note that our client is an equal opportunities Employer and adheres to all relevant legislation and offer services regardless of age, race, sex, disability, or religious belief.
