Infrastructure Engineer
Are you an Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience across both on-premise and cloud environments? This is a chance to join a company at the start of their cloud journey, where you’ll support core infrastructure whilst driving adoption of Microsoft Azure.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in infrastructure and support who wants to broaden their skills in a cloud environment. You’ll work across servers, networking, and Microsoft 365, while also gaining exposure to automation and DevOps practices as the organisation evolves.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing 2nd/3rd line support across on-premise and Azure environments.
- Managing Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and endpoint services.
- Supporting Azure migrations, configuration, and optimisation.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting virtualisation platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Monitoring system performance and security, resolving incidents, and implementing fixes.
- Assisting with infrastructure projects to improve scalability and resilience.
- Using scripting/automation (e.g. PowerShell) to streamline tasks.
- Collaborating with colleagues to introduce cloud-first and DevOps-aligned practices.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer / 3rd Line Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365.
- Hands-on experience with Azure (VMs, Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID, networking, etc.).
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a support environment.
- Scripting skills with PowerShell would be beneficial.
- Awareness of automation/DevOps practices is a plus but not essential.
What you’ll get in return
- Opportunity to play a key role in the company’s cloud journey.
- Hands-on experience across both on-prem and Azure environments.
- Training and certification budget (Microsoft Azure, DevOps tools).
- Competitive salary, annual bonus, and benefits package.
