£95,000-£110,000 depending on experience
Hybrid working + some international travel required
A leading provider of high-performance financial technology solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager with an external client-facing background and relevant domain experience to provide end-to-end delivery of complex front-office software programmes, whilst line-managing a small team of Project Managers.
Mandatory requirements for the Senior Project Manager role:
- 5+ years’ experience of delivering front-office or trading-adjacent projects in capital markets, asset management, or hedge funds: trading workflows, market-data systems, OMS/PMS, pricing engines, execution workflows, and/or FX multi-asset trading environments.
- Experience within web-based trading platforms: real-time trading systems, low-latency or streaming data, single-dealer platforms, and/or integration with front-office systems
- Client-facing vendor delivery experience: experience of external client management as the primary point of contact, managing demanding and/or high-profile banking or financial services clients, presenting to senior stakeholders, handling scope creep diplomatically and running steering committees
- Hands-on end-to-end software delivery currently: ideally of browser-based or SaaS products, but must be running the full lifecycle of discovery, scoping, requirements, delivery, deployment, hyper care and handover in current or most recent roles
- Formal line-management responsibility: direct line management experience including objective-setting, conducting appraisals, coaching Project Managers, and building Project Managers capabilities
- Appetite for a fast-paced small company environment: comfortable with ambiguity and ability to juggle multiple projects as needed.
This organisation is based in Central London and requires 2 days a week in the office on average, and the Senior Project Manager will be required to travel to client sites every 2-3 months for up to a week on average, which will initially be across the US and Europe mostly for this role, with Australia and Singapore also being on the cards. You must hold right to travel.
