Senior Product Designer
Design the future of wealth for a market that’s been underserved for too long.
This role will see you own a strategic product frontier with real autonomy, real users, and real impact. This is a London-based (hybrid working) role where you'll leverage AI to develop, ship, learn and pivot fast.
About the Company:
Our client is a fast-growing, profitable digital bank built specifically for high-net-worth individuals, a large, valuable audience caught between mass-market fintechs and traditional private banking. They believe there’s more to wealth than numbers on a screen, and they’re building products that treat people’s money with the same care and thoughtfulness as if it were their own.
The business is well past early validation: real customers, real deposits, strong growth, and long-term backing. What makes them different is how deeply design, evidence, and craft are embedded into decision-making. This is not a feature factory; it’s a product-led organisation where clarity, trust, and experimentation are competitive advantages.
The Core Mission for the Role:
Your mission is to own and shape one of the client’s most important product frontiers (a strategic bet that directly affects how customers save, invest, and understand their wealth).
You won’t be polishing the edges of an existing system. You’ll be designing, testing, and evolving brand new propositions that could become billion-pound business lines, and you’ll be trusted to lead that work end-to-end.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead product design for a dedicated frontier (Investments, or 360 Net-Worth dashboard), partnering closely with Product and Engineering.
- Turn complex financial concepts into simple, emotionally intelligent experiences that people genuinely trust.
- Move fast: form hypotheses, ship experiments, learn from live data, and double down on what works.
- Work directly with real customers, real usage, and real outcomes to inform your decisions.
- Use modern, AI-enabled workflows to accelerate learning, reduce busywork, and focus on what matters.
- Contribute to a small, senior design team that shares learnings, challenges assumptions, and raises the bar together.
Why You Should Join?
This role exists because the business is scaling beyond its first chapter, and design is central to what comes next.
You’re joining at a moment when:
- Strategic frontiers are still being defined
- Product bets are board-level priorities
- Design has genuine influence, not just a seat at the table
- Individual decisions visibly shape the next 3–5 years of the product
If you enjoy ownership, ambiguity, and seeing your work live with customers quickly, this is the kind of environment that rewards that mindset.
What’s in It for You (Package & Benefits)
- Salary £70,000 - £90,000 DOE
- Generous bonus scheme up to 40%
- Employee equity scheme
- 28 days annual leave + bank holidays
- 30 days working from abroad a year
- Flexible / Hybrid working
- Healthcare and Life Insurance
- And more!
What You Need to Be Considered:
This role is best suited to someone who:
- Has shipped real digital products in complex domains (fintech or wealth experience strongly preferred - but not required).
- Has shipped new propositions or products (not just features) from 0-1.
- Is comfortable owning problems end-to-end, from framing to outcome.
- Thinks in systems, not just screens.
- Uses data, research, and experimentation to guide decisions.
- Cares deeply about craft, clarity, and the small details that build trust.
- Enjoys moving fast, learning publicly, and adapting as evidence emerges
Note: You must have a portfolio demonstrating how you think and the impact of your work.
Interview Process
The process is designed to be clear, respectful, and efficient:
1) Intro conversation (30–45 mins)
An informal chat, including a walkthrough of a live product you worked on.
2) In-person session (approx. 2 hours)
- Short case study presentation (real work, shipped products)
- A practical design exercise based on a real product challenge
- Culture conversations with Product and People partners
3) Final conversation
- A values- and vision-focused discussion with senior leadership
