HubSpot Implementation Lead
Location: Surrey - 1 day per week onsite Duration: 12-16 weeks Start: Feb/March Rate: Competitive, Outside IR35 Days: 5 days per week
The BusinessThis is a fast-growing, digital-first B2B organisation operating at scale across both product and service-led offerings. With a large volume of recurring B2B customers, the business is investing heavily in its marketing infrastructure to support future growth, improve customer journeys, and create a more joined-up commercial engine.
HubSpot is already live for Sales, and the next phase is to properly implement MarketingHub as a strategic, scalable platform across the organisation.
The OpportunityWe're looking for a senior HubSpot MarketingHub Implementation Lead to own the end-to-end design and delivery of the MarketingHub rollout.
This is not a migration and not a project management-only role. This person will act as the in-house HubSpot authority - shaping strategy, designing customer journeys, advising stakeholders, and ensuring the platform is implemented in a way that is intuitive, scalable, and commercially effective.
You'll work closely with internal teams and alongside an external agency, challenging where needed and ensuring best practice throughout.
Key Responsibilities-
Lead a full MarketingHub implementation from strategy through to delivery
-
Design customer flows, journeys, and CRM architecture
-
Own the HubSpot setup with a focus on usability, adoption, and scalability
-
Act as the senior HubSpot expert (not just delivery or PM oversight)
-
Evaluate and manage an external HubSpot agency
-
Ensure the platform supports a high-volume, recurring B2B customer base
-
Work closely with marketing leadership to shape future-state operations
-
Support internal adoption and upskilling across the marketing team
-
Marketing team of 6 (currently weighted towards events)
-
Likely restructure as part of the implementation
-
Potential requirement to advise on / support a MarComms Manager role
-
Proven experience leading large-scale HubSpot implementations
-
Strong B2B background (essential)
-
Experience with high-volume, recurring customer models
-
Comfortable operating in both product and service-led environments
-
Able to demonstrate previous implementations and provide references
-
Confident working with senior stakeholders and agencies
-
Strategic thinker who is still hands-on where needed
