M&A Manager - Buy & Build Strategy

Birmingham | £65000 - £75000 + Car Allowance + bonus

A leading Buy & Hold platform within the tech sector is seeking an ambitious M&A Manager to join its expanding UK team. As part of a fast-growing European group, this role offers the chance to play a central part in driving the company's UK acquisition strategy in a high-deal-flow environment.

You'll work closely with senior leadership, gain broad exposure across the full deal lifecycle, and contribute directly to the company's long-term growth ambitions.

• Support the UK M&A Lead across origination, evaluation, execution, and closing.
• Proactively source and engage potential acquisition targets, building a strong and sustainable pipeline.
• Develop and maintain relationships with advisors, intermediaries, and sector specialists.
• Lead commercial and financial assessments of potential targets.
• Build financial models, prepare investment materials, and present insights to senior stakeholders.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 3-5 years' post-ACA experience in M&A (Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, or similar).
• Proven end-to-end deal execution experience, including due diligence and investment papers.
• Strong analytical skills, commercial judgement, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders.
