Power BI Developer - £40K
Leicester based - (5 days onsite work until probation - then dropping down to 4)
Our client is seeking a talented Power BI Developer to join their data team and play a key role in transforming data into meaningful business insight.
The role

Design, implement, and govern robust data models within Databricks Data Catalogues, leveraging Medallion Architecture for high-quality, analytics-ready data

Develop and maintain engaging, high-performance Power BI dashboards that translate complex data into clear business narratives

Own data quality and governance, implementing validation and integrity checks across data pipelines

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to define KPIs, capture analytical requirements, and deliver insights that influence operational strategy
The ideal candidate

An excellent communicator, able to present complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders

A T-SQL expert, with strong experience writing, optimising, and debugging complex queries and procedures

Strong working knowledge of Python (e.g. Pandas) for scripting and data manipulation, with an interest in building production-grade pipelines

Deep understanding of Power BI data modelling, performance optimisation, and the impact of DAX
