The role

We are looking for a Community, Events and Social Value Assistant to support our marketing team and wider business. This role is hands on and people focused. You will help coordinate internal community activity, wellbeing initiatives, charity and volunteering plus support delivery of events and exhibitions across the UK and UAE.

What you will do

• Support planning and delivery of Goaco events and exhibitions
• Coordinate logistics: venues, suppliers, schedules, travel and materials
• Maintain event checklists, calendars and action trackers
• Support internal community activities, team sessions and celebrations
• Help deliver wellbeing initiatives that strengthen culture
• Coordinate charity partnerships, volunteering days and local community support
• Capture event content and support social media posts with the marketing team (selfie explainer videos as an example & tiktok style content)
• Manage invitations, attendee lists, registrations and follow ups
• Provide on the day support at events including setup and coordination
• Gather feedback and help produce simple post event summaries

What we are looking for

• Some experience supporting events, community programmes or marketing activities
• Confident using social media especially LinkedIn and Instagram
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Responsive, proactive and comfortable speaking with people
• Able to handle multiple tasks and stay calm under pressure
• Willing to travel across the UK and to the UAE for key events

Nice to have

• Experience with charities, CSR or social value initiatives
• Experience in tech, digital or professional services
• Basic design or content tools experience such as Canva
