This isn't just an observer role — you'll contribute ideas, test solutions, and see your work rolled out to real customers.
Key Criteria:
Applicants must:
✓ Be currently studying and returning to university after the placement
✓ Be based in or willing to relocate to Manchester
✓ Be comfortable with hybrid working (min. 2 days in office weekly)
✓ Have demonstrable interest in data, technology or product-focused roles
✓ Be available for a full 12-month placement
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be placed in teams working on initiatives such as:
• Developing and improving core banking products customers rely on daily
• Analysing data to understand behaviour and fix customer pain points
• Exploring AI, automation and data visualisation tools like Power BI, Looker and Tableau
• Supporting pricing and performance models that balance customer value and commercial success
• Working cross-functionally with digital, operations, marketing and tech teams
• Learning Agile delivery and working within fast-moving squads
