IT Technician

We are seeking a motivated IT Technician to join our client’s dedicated team, providing first and second line IT support across a cluster of schools. This is a full-time role offering variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact in education technology.

About the Role:

  • Salary: £28,000 per annum
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Car and full driving licence required (travel expenses will be paid)
  • Primarily supporting schools in the Nottingham area.
  • Supporting 4–5 schools as part of a wider IT team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second line IT support via on-site visits, phone, email, and service portal.
  • Support IT systems, networks, and a wide range of devices including printers, projectors, whiteboards, and wireless technologies.
  • Ensure excellent customer service when managing incidents and service requests.
  • Work within ITIL processes including incident, change, and service request management.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets and configurations.
  • Support evening events when required and assist with IT inductions for new staff.
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times.

About You:

  • Previous experience in an IT support or technician role, ideally within an education environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Flexible and proactive, with the ability to travel between multiple sites.
