IT Sales Account Manager
We are working in partnership with a leading IT solutions provider based in Coventry, who are looking to appoint an experienced and commercially astute IT Sales Account Manager.
This is a strategic opportunity for a proven B2B technology sales professional who excels at managing complex client portfolios, driving sustainable growth, and delivering consultative, high-value IT solutions.
Uniquely, our client offers two engagement models:
· A permanent position with a competitive base salary and commission structure, or
· A freelance partnership with a highly attractive 50/50 revenue share for individuals with an established book of business.
The Role
As IT Sales Account Manager, you will take ownership of key client relationships while actively developing new business opportunities within the B2B technology space.
Key responsibilities include:
· Acting as the strategic lead for a portfolio of key client accounts, ensuring retention and long-term growth
· Identifying and securing new, high-value business through your existing network and market knowledge
· Delivering a consultative sales approach, designing tailored IT solutions aligned to client challenges
· Managing and forecasting your sales pipeline accurately using Salesforce
· Collaborating closely with internal technical and marketing teams to ensure seamless solution delivery
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be a confident, self-motivated sales professional with a strong track record in IT sales.
You will have:
· 3–5+ years’ experience in B2B IT or technology sales
· An active and transferable book of business
· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging C-suite stakeholders
· A disciplined, autonomous approach and the ability to thrive in a high-accountability environment
Salary & Benefits
· Basic £30,000 - £40,000 + OTE £95,500+, fully scalable based on performance
· Choice of permanent employment or freelance revenue-share model
