Talent Acquisition Partner
HRLife are excited to be partnering exclusively with a growing business to hire their first Talent Acquisition Partner for an initial 12-month FTC as the business gets ready to embark on a period of change. This is a brand-new role and offers a great opportunity for someone to work closely with hiring managers to attract and source talent as the business prepares for strategic growth.
You’ll be integral to building excellent relationships with managers to influence and help shape the hiring process; identifying future skills required, current skill gaps and offering credible, practical and hands-on solutions to source the right people for the right roles.
Ideally, you’ll have a mix of operational and strategic TA experience from the tech / engineering / software sector and be used to working in a broad, diverse role – from writing a JD, effectively interviewing candidates, embedding new processes and ways of working to building TA strategies that meet the expanding needs of the business.
The TA partner will work directly with the senior leadership team, build trust and rapport, have a natural ability to ask the right questions, positively challenge and be able to embed current, market-leading recruitment methodologies whilst ensuring an industry-leading candidate experience that boosts employer brand. You’ll have a passion for data – using insights and analytics to influence hiring decisions and provide analysis on recruitment trends.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Partnering closely with hiring managers, senior leaders, and key stakeholders to understand business objectives and talent requirements
- Provide expert guidance on market trends, candidate availability, and talent acquisition strategies
- Conduct thorough and targeted searches to identify and engage with high-calibre and highly specialised candidates
- Utilise various sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing, networking, and industry research, to build a strong network of talent
- Increase direct sourcing to reduce the spend and reliance on third parties
- Develop and implement best practice selection approaches through structured interviews and assessment tools to ensure alignment with company values and behaviours
- Provide an excellent end to end candidate experience
- Provide reports on recruitment metrics and insights, providing regular updates to stakeholders/the CPO
- Proactively involved with the full end-to-end recruitment process from taking a brief to offer and smooth onboarding
- Use data and analytics to drive continuous improvement throughout the recruitment process, making changes and embedding new ways of working
- Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the recruitment co-ordinator, providing support and direction as required
This is a great role for someone who loves a challenge - no two days will be the same! If you want to make your mark and add value in a supportive environment, then we’d love to hear from you. Ideally looking for someone who has worked in a similar role in a SME business (less than 500 headcount), is used to rolling their sleeves up and getting stuck into the day to day, has experience of driving and managing projects and is also able to turn their hand to strategic work too.
This is a hybrid role. 3 days in the office in Guildford and 2 days from home.
Salary c.60k plus bens.
