Head of HRIS

Role Overview:

We’re supporting an organisation in the search for an Head of HRIS to take ownership of the HR technology landscape, with a strong focus on Workday.

This role is responsible for defining the HR systems strategy, leading optimisation and governance, and driving process excellence across the employee lifecycle. You’ll own the Workday roadmap, lead system enhancements and integrations, and manage a small team of HR Systems Analysts, partnering closely with HR and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, future-proof solutions.

Key focus areas include:

  • End-to-end ownership of Workday (Core HCM and additional modules)
  • HR systems strategy, roadmap, and governance
  • Process optimisation and automation
  • Delivery of system change, upgrades, and integrations
  • Leadership and development of an HR Systems team
  • Stakeholder engagement and reporting enablement

Background sought:

  • Strong experience across Workday HCM and related modules
  • Proven ownership of HR systems in a post-implementation environment
  • Experience driving process improvement and system optimisation
  • Comfortable leading teams and complex, cross-functional change
