- Day rate: approximately £300-£400 per day (Outside IR35).
- Location: Mostly remote, with on-site presence in Bristol once every two weeks.
This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven CRM strategist or planner to join a reputable CRM agency working with major consumer brands. If you enjoy developing customer-centric strategies, turning insights into action, and influencing how brands utilize data in CRM and email, this role provides real impact from day one. You'll be part of a collaborative team where your ideas, recommendations, and ability to translate data into meaningful journeys will directly influence how clients engage their customers.
About the RoleAs the CRM Data Strategist, you'll partner with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and customer behaviours. Your role is to interpret what they need, uncover the data-led opportunities, and turn that into clear CRM strategies that internal teams can bring to life.
This position suits someone with a strategy, planning, or data insight background. Someone who understands how CRM should work, how data fuels it, and how to map that into customer journeys. You don't need to be deeply hands-on with the tech, but you must be confident navigating CRM platforms and understanding how data supports targeting, segmentation, and personalisation.

While the role isn't execution-heavy, you'll collaborate closely with technical and CRM teams who deliver the journeys and campaigns based on your strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with clients to understand their CRM, data, and customer engagement goals
- Translate client needs into data-driven CRM strategies and clear recommendations
- Identify customer insights and opportunities using available data
- Work with CRM and technical teams to define how strategies can be executed
- Shape customer journeys and messaging approaches rooted in behaviour and data
- Ensure strategies align with what's possible in Braze, Adobe, and GA4
