Head of Analytics - 8-month FTC

London (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)?? £110,000 + 10% bonus + pension (pro rata)?? 7-9 month FTC (flexible)

A private equity-backed business in the enviromental space is seeking an Interim Head of Analytics to lead the next phase of its data journey.

Following significant investment in its data platform, the organisation is now focused on turning data capability into measurable business value. This role will play a critical part in shaping how analytics is used across the business as it scales.

Reporting into the CFO, you will lead the analytics function within a growing data team that includes senior data engineering capability. With the foundations now in place, your remit will be to embed analytics into decision-making, influence senior stakeholders and demonstrate what's possible with data.

You'll work cross-functionally with teams including Customer Success, Operations and Marketing to deliver insight around customer behaviour, operational performance and growth opportunities.

You'll also act as a senior sponsor for the organisation's Power BI rollout, championing adoption and sharing success stories across the business.

• Lead and develop analysts, providing clear direction and support

• Partner closely with data engineering to shape the analytics roadmap

• Proven experience in a Head of Analytics / Analytics Manager / BI Lead role

• Strong SQL and analytics background (hands-on earlier in career)

• Commercially astute with excellent communication skills

• Confident influencing at senior level and managing multiple stakeholders

• Pragmatic, solutions-focused and comfortable working in an evolving environment

• Exposure to machine learning concepts is desirable but not essential
