Harnham are working with a fast-growing UK FinTech to bring in an Operations Strategy Analyst to support a newly formed operations analytics function, embedded closely alongside credit and risk teams

A well-established consumer lending FinTech operating multiple loan brands across near-prime and prime markets. The business has grown significantly in recenty and is now competing directly with some of the largest names in UK lending.
a medium sized company that combines the pace of a scale-up with the structure and ambition of an established organisation, placing strong emphasis on data-led decision-making and customer outcomes.
THE ROLE
As an Operations Strategy Analyst, you will sit within a dedicated operations analytics team, working closely with credit, underwriting, collections, fraud, and marketing to deliver insight across the entire customer lifecycle.
You'll focus on understanding processes, customer behaviour, and operational performance, then translating data into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:
- Ingesting and integrating large volumes of data.
- modelling collections analytics.
- Building and maintaining SQL based data tables and pipelines.
- Cooperative approach, working with the risk team to get a bit deeper into the data and create broader, more proactive insights on the data across the customer lifecycle.
- supporting dashboards and reporting used by investors and FinTech clients.
Day to day work is centred around SQL, data wrangling, and building reliable data structures.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years experience in an anlytical role, ideally within consumer lending or credit.
- Technically proficient in SQL and confident with large data sets.
- Strong ability to communicate data outputs clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- (2:1) Stem related Degree from a Russell group university is desired.
- SQL and a data visualisation tool is required.
