Senior Analyst Data & Logistics
West London (3 days/week) | £65,000 - £85,000 (DOE) | Tech-Driven Logistics Platform
A high-growth logistics-tech scaleup is looking for a Senior Analyst to sit at the heart of its Data Science team, owning core analytics across routing, pricing, and operational performance. With over 8 million customers across Europe, the business is on a mission to reshape transport through real-time optimisation, high-density matching, and data-led decisioning.
You'll be the first dedicated Analyst in a growing data science team (currently 4 DS), working closely with Product, Pricing, and Supply to solve high-impact logistics problems at scale.
What You'll Be Doing-
Own KPI tracking and dashboarding across customer and provider journeys

Analyse routing efficiency, van utilisation, and pricing performance

Identify cost and operational improvement opportunities across the platform

Work with structured and unstructured datasets (often messy, legacy, or large)

Feed into the development of optimisation algorithms and pricing strategy

Build tooling to support decision-making across commercial and ops teams

Present actionable insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience & Domain Knowledge

5-8+ years in fast-paced environments (startups, scaleups, or top-tier companies)

Exposure to logistics, transport, or marketplace businesses preferred

Proven track record of analytical ownership in complex systems
Technical Skills

Advanced SQL & Python (must-have)

Strong dashboarding experience (e.g. Tableau, Looker, etc.)

Bonus: experience with A/B testing, routing optimisation, or pricing algorithms
Mindset & Soft Skills

High energy, switched-on, thrives in fast-moving environments

Able to simplify complexity and influence senior stakeholders

Strong communicator - both within product/data teams and across the wider business

Comfortable being the sole Analyst in a DS team of 5 (inc. this hire)

Resilient under pressure - 20 daily deployments, 40 engineers, rapid iteration

Strong academic background (Russell Group or equivalent ideal)
