COMPANY DESCRIPTION

This organisation is a fast-growing, consumer-focused digital business operating at scale across multiple international markets. It serves millions of customers through mobile-first products, with a strong emphasis on accessibility, value, and customer experience.

Data and analytics sit at the heart of decision-making, supporting everything from product development and marketing strategy to customer retention and commercial performance. The business is continuing to invest in its data capabilities, building robust analytics foundations while tackling large-scale, high-impact projects across markets.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role sits within a growing Insights function and is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on analytics with ownership of tracking and implementation.

You'll support a wide range of analytics requests across product and marketing, with a particular focus on customer behaviour, churn, and campaign performance. Around 30% of the role will involve owning tagging and implementation (GA4/GTM), while the majority is focused on analysis, insight, and stakeholder collaboration.

You'll start by picking up ad-hoc reporting, dashboards, and data requests, with a clear pathway toward owning projects and contributing to longer-term strategic initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Analytics & Insight Delivery

  • Handle ad-hoc reporting, data pulls, and analytics requests across product and marketing.

  • Deliver core customer and marketing analytics, including churn analysis, CLV, and campaign performance.

  • Support dashboarding and gradually take ownership of key reporting assets.

  • Assist in improving data quality and consistency across the wider business.

Tagging & Implementation Ownership

  • Take full ownership of tagging and implementation across digital platforms (GA4).

  • Ensure accurate event tracking, data capture, and documentation.

  • Act as the point of contact for tracking-related questions and improvements.

  • Balance implementation work with deeper analytical insight (tagging ~30% of the role).

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with senior stakeholders across marketing, product, and commercial teams.

  • Support initiatives focused on understanding customer churn and the impact of marketing activity.

  • Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.

Project Growth & Strategy

  • Support handset and mobile device-related projects, including performance and launch analysis.

  • Learn from and shadow senior team members, gradually taking ownership of projects.

  • Contribute to longer-term strategic initiatives, such as evaluating handset launches in the UK and larger global marketing programmes.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong SQL skills for querying and analysing complex datasets.

  • Hands-on experience with tagging and implementation, particularly GA4 and Google Tag Manager.

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in customer and marketing analytics.

  • Experience working with dashboards and reporting tools.

  • Confident stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working with ad-hoc requests.

  • Ability to balance technical implementation with analytical insight.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Working knowledge of Python.

  • Experience in telecoms, mobile, or other subscription-based consumer businesses.

  • Exposure to international or multi-market analytics environments.
