Technical Architect (Cloud, Data & Platform)

Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 Hybrid: 3 days in Central London

I'm partnering with a client who are building a brand-new platform at the intersection of creativity, data and AI - enabling creators to licence digital content on transparent terms, while giving AI developers ethical access to high-quality data at scale. This is an early-stage hire where you'll play a key role shaping a pilot and setting the foundations for a platform built to scale.

The role

As the Technical Architect, you'll own the high-level architecture across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, APIs, integrations and security, working closely with an external platform provider and internal product leadership to deliver the MVP/MLP and the longer-term technical roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern platform architecture (cloud, data, APIs, integrations, security)
• Set standards for schemas, metadata and interoperability
• Support hands-on delivery and solve complex technical challenges
• Produce clear documentation, technical direction and best practices

What my client is looking for

• 10+ years in engineering / architecture roles
• Strong experience with cloud-native distributed systems
• Hands-on AWS/Azure/GCP knowledge (IAM, networking, storage, compute)
• Strong data architecture experience (schemas, metadata, governance)

Nice to have

• Data-intensive platform/marketplace experience
• Integration-heavy work + exposure to IaC/DevOps

Location & eligibility
