IT Technician

We’re excited to be recruiting for an IT Technician to join a fantastic business in an office-based role. You’ll be a key part of the team, making sure the company’s IT runs smoothly and providing support to colleagues across the organisation. The IT Technician Role

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT queries across the organisation
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, and related devices
  • Deploy and update software to ensure systems are secure and running efficiently
  • Assist with the upkeep and support of the company’s primary business platform (ERP)
  • Prepare IT equipment and user accounts for new employees
  • Coordinate with third-party providers when outside IT expertise is needed
  • Deliver practical, hands-on support to staff with their technical challenges
  • Keep IT documentation current and accurate

The Ideal Candidate

We’re seeking someone with a genuine interest in technology, who is keen to develop their skills and enjoys working with people at all levels. You should be a natural problem-solver with strong communication skills. A proactive approach and the ability to take ownership of responsibilities are essential.

Some previous IT exposure or knowledge will be helpful, and qualifications in computer science, networking, or Microsoft technologies would be an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree, diploma, or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Industry certifications such as IOSH, Cisco ECMS1 & ECMS2, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals would be beneficial
