Delivery Lead - Sheffield (Hybrid) - £65,000
We are seeking an experienced delivery leader to transform and stabilise a complex portfolio of initiatives within a large-scale organisation. This role requires shaping capability, building high-performing teams, and driving delivery excellence across technology-enabled change programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide governance and control across a portfolio currently spanning 150 initiatives, reducing this to a focused set of priorities.
- Ensure outcomes over outputs through robust planning, estimation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Shape and embed a high-performing delivery function, coaching teams and introducing best practices in agile and product delivery.
- Recruit and grow delivery teams, implement operating models, and manage performance improvement.
Essential Experience
- Proven track record in shaping delivery capability and managing complex portfolios.
- Strong stakeholder management skills at senior/executive level.
- Practical experience in coaching teams, setting direction, and improving performance.
- Ability to operate autonomously with authority and influence.
