Talent Acquisition Partner (Tech), Series B, Scale-Up

Talent Acquisition Partner – Technical

Location: London (Hybrid 2 days in office, flexible)

Salary: £65,000-£75,000 + Stock Options

Hawkwood are recruiting for a Technical Talent Acquisition Partner to join a high-growth, venture capital-backed AI scale-up that claims many of the world's largest financial institutions and law firms as their loyal customers. Having doubled revenue every year for the past five years and growing headcount from 200 to 450 employees in just the last 18 months, the company offers fast-paced growth.

The Role:

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll play a key role in hiring across Engineering, Product, Data and AI roles.

You will work as part of a close-knit Talent Acquisition team of four and will be supported by the Talent Lead and the wider people/talent team, becoming a key part of a lean, high-performing department.

This is a direct sourcing role where you’ll work closely with hiring managers, drive the full recruitment lifecycle, and focus on quality, speed, and candidate experience. You'll be using Ashby as your ATS, and you'll help shape how they attract the best talent as we scale.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for Engineering, Product, Data and AI roles.
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers, delivering a consultative and solutions-driven hiring experience.
  • Proactively source, engage, and assess top-tier candidates using creative direct sourcing strategies.
  • Stay informed about talent trends and the competitive landscape in tech, and use this knowledge to influence talent strategies and improve recruitment outcomes.
  • Maintain and optimise processes using Ashby (their applicant tracking system).
  • Be a key ambassador for the employer brand and candidate experience.
  • Work in a flexible, fast-paced environment where quality and speed go hand-in-hand.

About You:

  • Experience recruiting for challenging technical roles within tech companies. Ideally, this would be a mix of in-house and agency experience.
  • Able to take ownership of your hiring pipelines and stakeholders. You’ll be skilled at managing complex stakeholder relationships, as well as holding yourself accountable to a high standard of delivery.
  • Strong direct sourcing expertise.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining diverse hiring pipelines. DEI is important to our client and they are always striving to improve hiring practices to ensure they can reach the widest audience possible.
  • Comfortable working independently but loves collaborating with a wider TA team.
  • Organised, fast-moving, and enjoys working in a scaling environment.
  • Experienced with (or quick to learn) applicant tracking systems – familiarity with Ashby is a plus.
  • Thrive in a flexible hybrid set-up – the office is there when you need it, but you won’t be expected in more than once per week if that suits you.

Why Join?

  • Work for a company with impressive, consistent growth and a loyal customer base.
  • Be part of a collaborative, high-performing, and global Talent Acquisition team.
  • Flexibility in your working patterns – trust-based hybrid working environment.
  • Huge opportunity for career progression as the business continues to scale rapidly.
