Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial Technology)
A fast growing Financial Services business are looking to recruit a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team in London. Working closely with two other experienced lawyers, the role will focus mainly on technology procurement contracts for the bank.
About the Role
- Drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts with a specific focus on IT, procurement and outsourcing agreements. This will involve negotiating bespoke terms with suppliers.
- Advising on data protection and intellectual property issues
- A willingness to learn about the regulatory issues that affect the Bank, although prior experience knowledge within this realm is not a pre-requisite
What do you need to be successful in this role?
- Circa 5+ years of post-qualification experience
- Previous experience advising on complex commercial tech and / or procurement agreements ideally whilst working at a law firm, technology business or another financial institutions
- Experience of developing and maintaining relationship with internal stakeholders
