Technician 1

About the role The Tech 1 will play a vital support role in the onsite IT deployment process. Working under the guidance of Tech 2s and the customer, Tech 1s will assist with the movement, unpacking, setup, and installation of IT equipment. This includes handling trolleys, managing packaging disposal, and performing basic desktop installations.Tell me more, tell me more... Below are the job details for your reference:You can also ask our friendly recruitment team for any questions you may have about the role, between 09.00am till 17.00pm Monday to Friday.Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)Location: Causeway, Regional Shopping Centre, Bristol Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Contract Duration: 3rd November 2025 & 4th November 2025 Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist Tech 1s in moving trolleys used for delivering IT equipment.
• Unboxed IT kits were delivered in boxed packaging.
• Transport trolleys and/or IT equipment to designated locations on site.
• Dispose of packaging materials onsite as advised by the customer.
• Carry out desktop installations as directed by Tech 2s or the customer.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the deployment process.
• Follow all safety and handling procedures for IT equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Other stuff we're potentially looking for:

• Basic understanding of IT hardware (desktops, monitors, peripherals).
• Ability to lift and move equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to onsite needs.
• Previous experience in IT deployment or logistics support is a plus.
