Technician 3

Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 3 -Migration Engineer!Job Overview: Support the client Migration project at RAF Coningsby as an ELS Engineer. You'll assist in device refresh, clinic setup, and stock management under the guidance of the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager. This is a hands-on, on-site role requiring SC Clearance.

• Location: Coningsby, Lincoln LN4 4SY
• Daily Rate: An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of £19.38 (PAYE) OR £25.15 per hour (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).
• Contract Length: 05-Dec-2025 to 17-Mar-2026
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

Key Responsibilities

• Support migration setup and refresh clinic activities.
• Move devices from storage to clinic as instructed.
• Log into systems using provided devices under supervision.
• Refresh laptops and update workflow systems accurately.
• Assist with daily manual stock checks and secure devices.
• Follow guidance from Post Migration Technical Support Specialist and Site Manager.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure secure handling of equipment.

Key Requirements:

• SC Clearance (mandatory).
• Experience in IT hardware handling and refresh processes.
• Ability to follow structured workflows and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Comfortable working in a military environment.
• Reliable and punctual with good communication skills.
