Business Analyst – Hays London

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role within Hays? We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Projects team – a role that combines technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.

This is an opportunity to work on high-impact projects, implementing Hays proprietary technology (3SS Vendor Management System) alongside client-owned and off-the-shelf recruitment management tools. You’ll be at the heart of our technology delivery, ensuring smooth implementations and optimising systems for success among a number of clients.

What you’ll do:

• Configure and implement systems including setup, user acceptance testing, and data migration.
• Participate in workshops to analyse processes and translate them into technical deliverables.
• Present proposed solutions to internal and client teams for sign-off.
• Facilitate UAT and manage issue resolution with IT teams.
• Lead data migration workstreams, validating and analysing data from multiple sources.
• Document business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
• Support service delivery management, assisting with development cycles and release planning.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, acting as the link between business and technology teams.
• Produce training materials and encourage self-help resources for end users.

• Some proficiency in Excel or similar tools, including data analysis, transformation, and the ability to interpret datasets (preferred)
• Strong passion for technology and its practical application in solving real-world problems
• Adaptable and eager to embrace new tools, technologies, and methodologies

Technical experience is a plus, but your motivation and willingness to learn are key. If you have exposure to data analysis, system configuration, or recruitment technology, that’s an advantage – but not essential.
