Solutions Consultant - Finance

Henderson Scott Finance and Accounting have partnered with a specialised consultancy and market leader in financial and operational planning. They help organisations adopt modern, cloud-based planning solutions that deliver clarity, control, and confidence. And now they're looking for a highly credible Solutions Consultant to partner with C-suite decision makers and CFOs on their transformation journey.

The Role

You'll sit at the intersection of finance, technology, and strategy. Working closely with the consulting teams, you'll engage senior finance leaders to demonstrate how modern Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solutions can transform budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Your mission is simple:Help prospective clients understand the power of modern planning technology and do it with enough rapport to make even the most spreadsheet-loving CFO smile.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Partner with C-suite executives and CFOs to understand their financial planning challenges
• Lead compelling product demonstrations and solution workshops
• Translate complex finance requirements into clear, value driven CPM solutions
• Showcase the capabilities of cloud-based planning platforms, ideally Workday Adaptive Planning
• Support the sales cycle with deep finance and solution expertise

Your Profile:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Strong background in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Hands-on experience with CPM solutions (Workday Adaptive Planning highly desirable but not essential if other skills are met)
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior finance stakeholders
• A confident communicator who combines credibility with approach-ability

Package:

• £70,000 - £100,000
• £8K car allowance
• 10% bonus (paid out every year for 25 years)
• Uncapped commission on personal and company sales
• Private health personal and family
• Flexible working - predominantly remote but travel required to London and sometimes abroad (All expenses paid)
