Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant

Henderson Scott Finance & Accounting has partnered with a leading UK consultancy to hire a talented Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant specialising in WAP. This is a remote role with travel to the client's site, full training is provided, but experience in Workday is essential.

The role and responsibilities:

• Shape and deliver full life cycle implementations of Workday Adaptive Planning (WAP).
• Lead workshops, design financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), and guide clients from build through go live.
• Act as the bridge between finance and IT, understand the business needs, and deliver excellent solutions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, control risk, and deliver on-time and on-budget.
• Use your problem-solving skills to navigate technical roadblocks with confidence and judgement.

The candidate:

• Experienced in Workday Adaptive Planning implementations
• Desirable - Qualified in accounting (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  OR
  strong systems background.
• Comfortable working autonomously, structuring your own workload
• Skilled with Excel, financial analysis, and translating business needs into technical solutions
• Excellent communicator, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders

Salary

£60,000 - £65,000 basic (DOE)

Plus Car Allowance £10,000

Annual Bonus (10%)

Plus utilisation bonus

Remote working - visits to client site
