Project Finance Business Partner - 6 Month FTC Salary: Basic £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus Location: Sheffield (Hybrid working available)Employment: Fixed Term Contract (6 months)

A leading, innovative technology services provider is seeking a Project Finance Business Partner to support a high-profile infrastructure project on an initial 6-month contract. The Role

As Project Finance Business Partner, you will take ownership of all financial elements related to the delivery of a multi-million-pound infrastructure project. Working closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders, you'll provide financial insights, maintain the project's financial model, and ensure budgetary alignment across the board.

Project Finance Business Partner Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance a detailed financial model to support strategic decision-making and ROI tracking
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and actual spend, highlighting variances and risks
• Deliver clear, accurate reporting to both internal and external stakeholders
• Support project-related accounting activities during month-end and year-end close
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit processes as required
• Provide constructive financial challenge and partnership to project teams and leadership

Project Finance Business Partner Requirements:

We're looking for a proactive, commercially minded finance professional with:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Strong experience in finance business partnering, ideally within project-based environments
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and sound knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new models or frameworks

Desirables:

• Experience in telecoms, infrastructure, or previous contract roles.
