Description

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends and variances to provide actionable insights.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with department heads to review and control expenditure.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist with year-end audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Work closely with the wider finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as required by senior management.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification or relevant degree in accounting and finance.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience working in the tech industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• An analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
