Innovation Delivery Manager
Location: Glasgow (2 days per week office-based)Salary: Up to £90,000 depending on experience Team: Innovation & Partnerships
Are you an innovation-driven delivery leader who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments? This global bank is looking for an Innovation Delivery Manager to drive high-impact innovation initiatives across emerging technology, digital capability, customer innovation, and strategic change.
This is not a traditional project management role - it's dynamic, multi-project, stakeholder-heavy, and rooted in discovery, experimentation, and rapid iteration.
You'll lead multiple projects at once ( 6 - 12 at one time), each at different stages of the inoovation lifecycle - from discovery through to POC and Pilots
Resposbilities include:

Lead end-to-end delivery across the innovation lifecycle: discovery, exploration, scoping, PoCs and pilots.

Ensure alignment to the bank's Innovation Operating Model and Delivery Framework.

Execute multiple short-cycle innovation projects simultaneously, managing rapid pivot points and ambiguity.

Work closely with innovation teams including Strategy & Insight, Product, Ecosystem & Partnerships, and Innovation Engineering.

Collaborate with stakeholders across private banking, retail banking, fintech partners, and cross-functional internal teams.

Support workshops, discovery initiatives, opportunity assessments, challenge framing, and strategic ad hoc projects

Reinforce governance, risk, and regulatory alignment across innovation initiatives.
Essential:

Strong experience delivering innovation projects or acting within innovation labs, digital hubs, start-ups/scale-ups, internal consultancy, or fast-paced tech environments.

Multi-project Agile delivery - comfortable running multiple initiatives at speed.

A true innovation mindset: curious, energetic, adaptable, and comfortable in ambiguity.

Excellent stakeholder management - confident influencing senior leaders (Director/MD level).

Strong literacy in emerging technology (AI, digital platforms, fintech, etc.) and how it can be applied to solve business problems.

Experience with innovation frameworks or structured experimentation models.

Discovery facilitation, workshop creation, problem framing.

Exposure to regulated environments is essential
