Data Analyst
Job Title: Data Analyst Location: Skipton Salary: £26,500 - £37,000 per annum Hours: Full Time - Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm Hybrid Working: 3 days from the office, 2 from home. If you want your work to truly matter, this could be the role for you. In this hands on role, you'll support clients by managing, analysing and reporting data in line with regulatory requirements. You'll interpret complex information, conduct audits and provide technical support, helping clients meet their obligations while improving internal processes and service delivery. Your duties as Data Analyst will include -
- Collect, analyse and interpret client data to produce high quality insights, reports and technical support for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Interpret complex compliance regulations and apply them to clients' operational activities in a clear and practical manner.
- Deliver compliance related data services for clients, ensuring accurate and timely submissions aligned with relevant legislation and deadlines.
- Maintain the accuracy, consistency and completeness of data within internal systems and databases.
- Conduct audits remotely and on site, along with attending client meetings to ensure regulatory obligations are being met effectively.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying and contributing to enhancements in processes, tools and the overall client experience.
- Handle incoming and outgoing third party data requests on behalf of clients, including liaising with suppliers and other external partners as needed.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their data requirements and ensure alignment with their compliance responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills with experience handling large data sets accurately.
- Analytical and methodical, able to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly.
- Highly organised with strong time management, able to prioritise, multitask and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of database querying and data visualisation tools is desirable.
- Strong work ethic with a practical, can do attitude and a team oriented approach.
- Proactive, open minded, confident to challenge assumptions and quick to adapt to new systems or regulations.
