Role: 2nd Line Support Engineer

Location: Bristol | Hybrid working (2–3 days in office)

Salary: £30,000–£35,000 DOE + benefits

Our client, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP), is seeking a 2nd Line Support Engineer with strong experience across the modern Microsoft workplace. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing team supporting a wide range of clients with modern cloud-first solutions built on Microsoft 365 and Azure.

What you’ll do

• Deliver 2nd line technical support across Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server environments
• Manage and troubleshoot issues within SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, and OneDrive
• Support Azure AD, Intune, and related cloud security/configuration tasks
• Resolve escalated service desk tickets and maintain high customer satisfaction
• Assist with client onboarding, infrastructure upgrades, and project delivery

You’ll collaborate closely with 1st and 3rd line teams to ensure smooth escalation and effective resolution, supporting clients across multiple industries.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in a 2nd line support or similar IT role (MSP experience preferred)
• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 administration – SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, OneDrive
• Experience with Azure AD, Intune, and Windows Server management
• Good networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
