Ready to lead support operations while also getting involved in exciting, hands-on project work?
We’re working with a long-standing client, a well-established UK business with a reputation for treating its staff like family, to help them find a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their team. You’ll be based in Malvern, working directly with the IT Manager in a small, supportive team where your voice and ideas will be heard. This role is a brilliant fit for someone currently working in 2nd/3rd Line Support or on a Service Desk, who’s hungry for more ownership, project exposure, and the opportunity to shape IT from the inside out.

There’s also a strong emphasis on providing personalised support, this company values people who pick up the phone, go the extra mile, and genuinely enjoy helping others.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Taking full ownership of Intune – support, maintenance, migration, and optimisation
- Acting as the lead for 2nd/3rd line support, delivering excellent service across the business
- Working on a variety of IT projects, including app deployment, device management, and process improvement
- Speaking directly with users and key stakeholders, this is not a hide-behind-email role
- Collaborating closely with the IT Manager to support and improve IT strategy
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, ideally including rollout or major support work
- Familiarity with app wrapping, ISO Android policies, and global admin-level activity
- Someone who’s comfortable working on their own initiative and taking the lead on tasks
- Excellent communication skills – friendly, confident, and happy to jump on a call or walk over to someone’s desk
- A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in both support and IT project delivery
What You’ll Get in Return:
- Up to £40,000 salary, depending on experience
- Hybrid working
- A collaborative, people-first environment where you’ll be supported and trusted
- The chance to shape and influence the IT function
- Real career progression in a company that listens, cares, and invests in its people
Ideal for You If:
- You’re currently a 2nd Line or 3rd Line Support Engineer looking to step up
- You want more variety, not just support, but project involvement too
- You’re confident working with people across all levels of the business
- You want to join a company that offers more than just a job, but a place to grow
