Location: Cheltenham (Hybrid – approx. 3 days on-site)

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + benefits

Our client, a leading IT services organisation, is establishing a new office in Cheltenham and is hiring a Technical Consultant to support the delivery of high-quality technical services. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business with a strong vision, taking on deeper technical responsibility as the new office and team continue to grow.

What you’ll do

• Deliver 2nd and 3rd line technical support to a range of users and customers.
• Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues across hardware, software and networking.
• Work closely with stakeholders to assess technical requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Support project delivery, including upgrades, migrations, deployments and on-site consultancy.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous service improvement.

You’ll collaborate with infrastructure, service management and technical delivery teams to provide high-quality consultancy and support across the organisation.

What we’re looking for

• Strong 2nd and 3rd line technical experience across Windows environments, networks, servers, admin tools and troubleshooting.
• Experience working directly with customers or internal stakeholders in a consultancy-focused capacity.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues with a methodical and customer-focused approach.
• Familiarity with ITIL, ticketing systems and structured support processes.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid role, spending three days per week in the Cheltenham office.
