Job Opportunity
As a Technical Operations Coordinator, you'll play a key role in keeping our IT department running smoothly day to day. Acting as the voice of the IT Director when required, you'll work closely with Team Leads to coordinate activity, track progress, and ensure teams are focused, effective, and delivering against agreed priorities.
You'll be central to the successful delivery of projects, tasks, and software releases - facilitating clear communication between IT teams and the wider business, and ensuring processes are followed and deadlines are met.
In this role, your duties would include:
*Support and coordinate the Development, QA and Infrastructure teams' workload, ensuring tasks are actioned and followed up within agreed timelines
*Track work progress within each team to identify blockers or possible divergence from allocated tasks and deadlines
*Own Application support and liaise with the appropriate IT teams and departments to ensure issues or blockers are resolved efficiently
*Communicate all information regarding changes in system scope, delays and potential blockers to everyone involved
*Chair weekly meetings and daily huddles for the IT department and relevant teams
*Ensure the IT Director is kept up to date with any product issues experienced by the Business and assist with providing a resolution
*Ensure workforce hours are effectively managed and remain within budgeted targets.
*Work with Business Analysts / QA team to assist with projects, ensuring requirements are gathered and the project progresses.

Essential Skills

*Proven experience within a team coordination role supporting technical teams
*Background in a team coordination role supporting technical teams
*Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept through to completion
*Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to adapt the style depending on the audiences
*
Ability to analyse data, think flexibly, identify issues and develop options of improvement
*Experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to produce clear requirements from undefined and unstructured information
*Excellent IT skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
*Strong leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, and conflict-resolution skills.
*Demonstrates a positive, driven approach to work with strong determination to achieve targets.
Desirable Skills
*Experience in a Business Analyst role or similar
*Experience working with HMRC
*Good Understanding of Tax, VAT & Payroll.
