What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications, integrations, and system enhancements
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Work with databases, reporting tools, and data structures to support accurate decision-making
- Support and improve existing systems, ensuring performance, security, and reliability
- Collaborate closely with IT colleagues, stakeholders, and end users across the College
- Troubleshoot issues, provide technical advice, and implement long-term fixes
- Contribute to system documentation, coding standards, and best practice
- Support digital transformation projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in software development, systems analysis, or application support
- Strong knowledge of programming, scripting, or development frameworks
- Experience working with databases, data analysis, or reporting tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical and methodical approach
- Ability to gather, analyse, and interpret technical and business requirements
- Strong communication skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in an education, public sector, or multi-site organisation (desirable, not essential)
